Time for another update before the blog becomes seriously outdated!
DXO is a really weird club. You get all kinds of people there. Lians, bengs, aunties, some totally unhot ang mohs who can't handle MOS, you name it, they've got it. Talk about an identity crisis man. And if they aren't having shitty music like that time at the RJ afterparty, then they've got DJs who can't get the crowd going despite spinning some good songs. Oh well.....
And did i mention that drinks are way overpriced there??
Funny moment at DXO last night
Shane: So what do you guys want to drink?
Me: Vodka lime?
Yong Cheng: Vodka lime?!? That's such a kiddy drink man
Shane: Ok, so what do you want?
Yong Cheng: Bourbon Coke
And of course, what's a clubbing night without THAT debate about whether i'm drunk or not haha. So i just got to say, you will know when i'm drunk when i start to strip and dance on the bar top. Otherwise, i'm never drunk! Never have been!
Oh and a note to that band Addiction playing last night at DXO to which i'm addicted to now, pun fully intended, i just had to do that- take your music somewhere else, some place where people can really appreciate you guys cos you're all fantastic. But please please don't cover any of Paris Hilton's songs anymore. That's a sure way of not getting that record label.
So anyway, clubbing aside, I got the bargain buy of the year yesterday! After two years, i've finally found the STAND UP SPEAK UP wristband! Yeah, that passe wristband of anti racism fame from the year 2004 whatever. But i got it at only........ 5 bucks! While others got theirs at 50 bucks! Hahaha take that, Ebay!
My parish priest made the boldest statement of his career this morning.
