you know, i think i can say for most guys in a1a that army just makes you depressed.. i know it's all about serving the nation and all that shit, but no matter how nice this country's treated us for the past 18 years doesn't mean they can just throw us in a shithole for 2 years! u know, i just calculated, and i have only about 560 days before my ns stint is over...FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DAYS!!!! and then, i'm sure daniel is cursing abt it too, they put us to work on NDP, on saturdays! gosh, what's the big deal abt a freaking parade?!?! let those who want to celebrate the nation's birthday work on the parade themselves lah! so girls, when u do watch the parade on tv next month, do remember it was done grudgingly by a group of poor sods who got their weekends robbed by the government.. haha ok i'm so sorry for ranting here, and i know being depressed isn't going to be good for the skin and all.....so on a brighter note, superman returns was a really enjoyable 2 and a half hrs of escapist entertainment. the music, the opening blue flying credits, the awesome rescues, miss lois lane :D haha ok i can already feel the seconds of my preciousss weekend ticking away, cya people!
