Sometimes I really forget that I can actually blog here. This space is wasted on soccer lah, just post the results lor. Finals: ITALYYY!! All the hype about it and staying up late to watch is making me excited even I cant understand it! Suddenly everyone around me uses football lingo."Sia lah! That midfielder feinted!!","Huh! What happen!" People are forever asking me these days if Im staying up to watch, and I found out all kinds of reasons why they're watching. mmm. I've finally started to realise how important soccer is - how it creates wonderful social opportunities
4 common reasons (other than the really common reasons)..
from different people
1) Opportunity to spend time with soccer crazed boyfriend
2) Opportunity to start a conversation with a guy, even it's about soccer
3) Opportunity to sms a girl and ask her if she's watching too
4) Opportunity to sit with girlfriend on couch for the duration of match
These are real reasons ok. Perhaps it'll give you all some ideas in future. You know hor, I got flamed for taking soccer so trivially and missing the spirit of it all by making sweeping generalisations. [Oh I was tempted to get the country themed Converse tees. I like the Brasil one.]
While World Cup mania is still rife, does anybody want Miniature Soccer Balls? They're quite pretty and nicely made. It's one for 6 bucks, and two for 10. I have 1 to give away though. Tell me if you want ok?
On Germany progressing to the semis ( I think). By one of my friend who recently bought soccer shoes for herself:

I am completely clueless what shes talking about. To the less soccer literate people, you get what I mean about soccer lingo yes? Wah.. and the names too.
