One more month to the end of BMT for Kelv and myself! After that, let's hope that we never have to set foot in Tekong EVER again! So anyway a little bit about my army life which is coming along nicely.. (shoot yourself if you believed that last bit)
I've finished all outfield activities and this is really very important because it has serious profound implications on my life. What it means is that:
1) No more groping in the dark trying to pack my bag.
2) No more squeezing generic-tasting disgusting little bits of yucky prepacked, processed food out of green packets for lunch and dinner.
3) No more cohabiting with insects and bugs such as centipedes, gigantic red ants, mosquitoes, flies etc.
4) No more having to lie flat on my belly in thorny bushes with a god knows how heavy field pack on my back and a rifle.
5) No more smearing camo cream on my face or having to go several days without bathing!
So you see, life can go back to normal, or as close to normal as it gets in army, with the end of field camp and outfield activities. Yays to that.
