Hi guys! Still no news about the results and its starting to get to me. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and i'm quite sure we'll get it next week latest.
Anyway, I came across this piece of absurd news the other day. Apparently in Taiwan, a bakery came up with this ingenious idea of printing the initials LV on a bread and it has gone down a storm with the locals. These people are so brand conscious to the extent that they're willing to buy anything that might have a hint of connection to branded goods. I mean, it's not even a real LV bread, it's just the initials! Either these people love branded stuff so much or they're just desperate to say that they use, or in this case, eat branded stuff. I can't imagine though...
Tom: Hey, what did you have for breakfast today?
Dick: Oh a piece of LV bread, you know, like Louis Vuitton
If people are really that brand conscious, then i think i'll go to all the big brands and buy a franchise to sell bread and pastries using their names. So expect Gucci sandwiches, Prada pralines, Givenchy cupcakes, Dunhill scones, Polo muffins, Louis Vuitton cossiants, Valentino cookies etc. And to top it all off, i'll open my shop in Paragon. Now, how's that for an entrepreneurial brainwave!
