HEY GUYS WASSSSUPPP PIES! gee its been a long time since i've been here and i think the blog is on its way to a sloowww silent death! hyak! ooh anyway i'm back with some tv goss. seriously, my tv addiction is starting to get a little out-of-control. i watch a minimum of 3 hours a day. think that's little? oh well maybe but i never used to watch so much! its like when i'm out, some crave food, some crave clubbing, i crave certain tv shows.

mary: omg i crave sushi!
jane: omg i crave zouk!
mich: omg i crave desperate housewives!

hmm anyway i wanted to get a blog where i can give my tv reviews and do that thesmokinggun thing. but i figured when i get a blog, i'll start the whole damn whining thing like "someone is so irritating and should get a life" where i won't state who that someone is and be a bitch without balls (hmm hey..) or i'll write a whole entry cursing something/someone and regret it a few months down the road. so oh well. YOU GUYS are lucky and in for a treat here! hur hur.

back to tv - its getting out of hand! so i started reading. i recently bought this book 'The Devil Wears Prada' and its complete trash! fashionista bull. goodness its a waste of my eyeball time! so its back to tv!

the run of The Practice is over. sob sob. i've been watching it ever since i was in sec 3!!!! my very first serious drama. its one of the best shows i've ever watched. hell its one of the only intellectual shows i watch. very gripping, complex characters and damn right about human nature. but it's over. so its bye lindsey, bobby, ellenor, eugene, ALAN (ooh-la-la), jaime, tara.. its been a nice ride.



as you guys know (but don't care), season 2 of laguna beach has ended. so there goes the practice and laguna beach.. what do i watch now? i have watched every episode of Friends, swore off Smallville and Gilmore Girls for having the same damn plot every week and really can't stand local shows (omg has anyone caught Police and Thief.. it borders on pathetic-hilarious but serioussllyy.. its really bad) so here are some hot new shows that i have discovered, or re-discovered.

1. The Nanny.


i remember walking past the tv when i was younger and this jewish-looking woman with a terrible voice really captivated me. i never understood the jokes when i was young, but now i really get it! its on channel 17. there are many repeats for this show throughout the weekday. personally, i watch the 12.15 one. its really reaaally hilarious. here's an excerpt..

fran's mum: ugh these rock cakes taste like cork!
fran: MA! you're eating the coaster!

hahaha they have really funny conversations. zipzap its fast and funny. also, check out the very hot Maxwell Sheffield, the broadway producer. the guy who hires a nanny although in his house "two out of three kids are eligible for voting". the very proper butler has really cute one-liners. a must watch. the 90's version of I Love Lucy.

2. Jamie's Italy

great food in the streets and hillsides of italy. none of the glamour stuff going on, but really down to the nittygritty basic elements of food. olive oil, garlic, herbs.. gee what more can a girl ask for? jamie loooovvesss fish and so do i! he does fish real good. not like i actually taste it, but you know. an added bonus: the scenery and awesome lifestyle in italy. its so unlike anything i've seen before. channel 16. don't really know when.

3. Fashion Avenue

i see a post down there talking about it. gosh this show is awesome. jodie kidd is not like hot-hot and neither is she eloquent, but the shopping is so freaaakiinngg goooooood. gosh the numerous vintage shops they go to are seriously vintage! not like the "vintage" shops you see in singapore. trash. and they shop at high end places like duh. my favourites would be what i see in D&G (i'm starting to really fall in love with this brand's designs), versace (awesome awesome!), etro (looking good!) and of course everything on madison avenue. vintage thrills. channel 16 on sundays. its a repeat i think. don't know the actual one.


4. AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!

i'm really into this shit-ass show now. its addictive. its one of the shows i crave when i'm drinking water, walking home or sleeping. I LOVE LISA! she's so cool and crazy ahhh she is simply the bomb, people.

she's ebulliently charming. just have to watch it. kim is not bad too, something about her that is kinda appealing.
